What do you folks think about music during a shoot? Recommend or not?

Music is a wonderfull thing it can create such a wonderfull energy.  I crank up all sorts of tunes.  Ipod plugs into the stereo.  Hendrix, Dylan,  Rage against the machine,  music can create an atmosphere that helps to be seen in the photos.

I try and avoid barry white though.

I am a big fan of music and I bring Cds and my Ipod when the photographer asks. I know my style of music and prefer to bring my own stuff when its needed.
I just think it makes the shoot alot more relaxing but there may be some that don't feel that way. Silence is not something I like LOL Just ask my mom
