I tend to equate high-fashion with haute couture, yet some people seem to differentiate the two. I consider myself a fashion photographer yet I'd like to move in to high-fashion.. shooting ad campaigns for LV, Gucci, Dior, Burberry etc.

I guess you are if you say you are.  But I don't see any "high fashion" in your port.

You should try getting a few white girls to shoot with you.

You show some very nice work in your profile, It's obvious that you are on the way to becoming  very good photographer, but here is what "high fashion" is about, http://www.fordmodels.com/main.cfm. In my view, you have some very nice photo sof attractive ladies, but not "high fashion".
