Thanks to everyone for the hosting ideas!

I was wondering if anyone can give me some idea about how to create a subscription - password-protected - area.  Part of my site will be free, part will be subscription-oriented.

Anyone?

With all due respect, if you don't know how to do this, you need to hire someone who does. This is only one small part of setting up a pay site with recurring subscriptions, and it is, in all honestly, the easiest part.

Take my advice: hire someone to help.
