I for one think the human wang is generally a beautiful thing. I also have a penchant for the following: Kilts. I adore kilts on men. Especially tall, strapping Scotsmen with dreamy eyes. Filmy white poet shirts that never seem to fasten all the way. Boxer briefs. One's that haven't been worn and laundered to the point of falling apart. Women's lingerie (on certain men, Dr Frank n' Furter for example) A nice pair of jeans. A clean close shave. Kilts. A really great smile. Shirtlessness, provided he's not hairy like Ron Jeremy. Period costume (pirates etc. are yummy) A strategically-placed fig leaf. Did I mention I like kilts? What I find anti-erotic: Stubble (kissing a man with stubble HURTS) Speedos (unless you're built like a swimmer and in Brazil) Baggy trousers that look like they're about to fall off. excessive jewelry. Tighty whities. Gold teeth. Shirts with slogans like "Bikini Inspector" on them. Honestly, are there men who actually think this will get them laid? Bad hygeine. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your opinions. It is most definitely helpful. I can see your viewpoint and appreciate a lot of what you shared. As for the kilts ... Eh. Although I think the "Mel Gibson in Braveheart" look was very striking and masculine ... um ... the "long hair and kilt" thing only looks masculine when you're covered in blood and chopping off Englishmen's heads. If you're posing for a photo or going to a gothclub or walking around a RenFaire ... it's kinda the ghey.

Ghey? Nah, they're the highlight of the Highland Games. If I ever wed a Scotsman, he will be wearing one. I insist.

when you are floundering for answers about art direction for photography, think about how popular men are cast in movies. J Depp, Sean Connery, Tom Selleck, Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, etc., etc., etc. Ask Fabio. He seems to be able to strike a chord with a broad spectrum of women. http://www.pbase.com/click_hamilton/clean_shave ![https://k53.pbase.com/o4/58/623858/1/55047330.2006010605017w.jpg]()

I love seeing pics of men in suits and better yet, when they are unbuttoned with a little scruff growing but the clean cut scruff and a perfect white smile! I melt with guys with nice smiles. I can handle seeing pics or meeting guys with a different looking nose or a man with not a strong buil. But a man with a perfect white smile and even when it is soo real looking. It makes me feel like I wish I was that special girl that made him laugh sp perfectly like that. I like seeing men being careless in there actions in pics. Like when no one's looking but it is that perfect pose that just looks' good while doing it. It looks hot to see a man with a tan muscle bod in a towel in the bathroom brushing gis teeth. I just picture men being amused by them most when a picture prtrays that he doesn't know or care he is having his pic taken. It's like saying he is so manly it isn't even happening. Ya know? Yeah, that's my feelings toward that.

Yeah, that's my feelings toward that. Your first MM post is on my thread. Flattering. Thanks for the input. I know what you mean about a photo that looks like the guy is unaware of the camera. I had a long talk about that very subject with a gay photographer who shot a lot of male nudes. His photos were very beautiful because the men were not trying to be sexy. They were just there, unassuming, as if unaware they were being photographed. It's a male/female thing. Women can try to LOOK sexy in a photo, and they will BE sexy. Men who try to LOOK sexy, tend to look like dorks. Men only seem to successfully appear sexy when they are NOT trying. Hmm. Interesting. This topic has given me lots to consider.

Guitar playing rocker boys. The ones with pretty hair, but they don't know it. Any guy who isn't afraid to wear a little smudged eyeliner. Someone who is completely masculine and yet secretly writes love songs and poetry for you. A little auto grease just adds to a mans sexyness. Oh and the things I hate: Speedos, Implied or full frontal nudes (it works for girls but not for guys), Cheesy pictures.

Look, just as long as the picture isn't out of focus, intentionally blurred (in an overly-done, cheesy way), a poorly done "artistic" photo that looks like cheap porn, a really bad picture that looks like it was done with a disposable camera, or a man in an overall cheesy outfit then I don't really mind. I like my pictures tasteful. The men? Muscles or not, I think it's the overall body shape that matters. Some men are very muscular but don't have an overall appealing body shape.

The Stare. And in my opinion, nudity/shirtless detracts from this.

Yes, I found the interest in knowing what woman thought of what is sexy or intriging to a womans eye when she looks at a picture of him was very fun to comment about. Fun Topic!

Because as men, those are the guys WE all want to be too. You think only women love those guys? EVERY man (gay or straight) loves James Bond. We ALL want to be that smooth, suave and tough. Even Sean Connery wants to be that cool. No. I was talking about specifics of PHOTOS of men in GENERAL. Not specifics of men like Mr. Bond.
