Just curious again....
It seems on my own time (TFP) I do a lot of action shoots featuring women taking on guys (or solo but hee hee rarely)
I was wondering if anyone else on the site has sword and gun based shoots?
I try to keep it sexy with huge doses of reality (ladies if youre holding a katana, knuckles forward, top of hand within a distance of two fingers width of the tsuba and have the thumb and two primary fingers controling most of the grip)
Im not a huge fan of the cutesy "ooh look im in a bra and i have a sword" or "look at me hold this gun like its the first time Ive ever seen one of these things"
But thats just me; you can be butt naked but lets at least fake like we know what were doing...and its not always the model's fault some photogs are like "here hold this"
ANNNNNYWAY *kicks away soapbox*
So Im wondering if anyone does pretty intense or true to life shots of women and weapons or know of any sites
Id love to meet more of my brethren : )
ENJOY THE MAYHEM!

"intense and cutsey"? No, but take a look at http://www.distinctiveimages.com/warrior/index.html. I don't know about intense, but an Italian museum liked them enough to ask for some "on loan" for a summer long exhibition last year.

O yes.

Girls and weapons. I have lots, mostly swords (some real), guns (some, some not) and a lot of cool weaponry props, anime style.

Here's a couple.

The following picture appeared in a Japanese newspaper a few months ago. It is of my daughter and her iaido sensei doing tameshi-giri. This, of course, has to be done with a real katana and was after a number of years of iaido study in the UK and Japan.
