I got a plane ticket through Expedia for a model for this coming Monday. It appears that the model is not going to show.

I've been lucky and not had this happen before; but am wondering if anyone else has had this experience, and whether there is any way of recovering part of the fare by canceling now, and applying it to a new traveler at some point. Expedia seems to have contradictory info on this on their site.
