Dear fellow Models, Photographers, and other creative people:
I'd like to know in how many languages you can give/take directions on a shoot.

I can take directions in English, somewhat in French, and a little less in Spanish.  I can only reply in English and basic yes or no in french and numbers in spanish.

I understand that english is most common language. I am curious if italian is spoken a lot among high-fashion staff. (I was told Milano to be the best gateway to get started).

Wonder how and especially WHY someone told you that? But... that matter is out of this topic.

Anyway, back to the topic, I'd love to hear from people in the big cities (NYC, Miami and LA).

English, German, French, and Croatian. But I'm not really that fluent in any of them for heavy conversation except English. But for simple direction, any are fine.

Words interfere with the creative and tactile process.   Direction must be done manually, not verbally.
