Yes - they've tendered their IPO.  Does that mean they'll become more and more the choice for "fashion cowards"?  Or for the sake of sales, are they going to make their catalogues "sexier"?  Can't wait to see the consequences . . .

A friend of a friend recently told me that she is a manager at the J Crew near me. I took a second look at her and I can't deny that I was thinking, "No wonder."

I don't understand the comments. They seem like insider stuff. Whats wrong with J Crew?

J. Crew went public today??? Maybe I should take all that extra money I have and invest. No wait . . .  I guess I would like to eat this month, not to mention paying the rent.
