I know there are a million forums about "short" models and ones about small/no boobs. I'm in a rut though. I trying to figure out my niche. I am 5' 6 1/2" tall and I'm 96 lbs and have no boobs. I started this forum to find other models like me. What kind of modeling do you do (post photos of faves)? I like glamour, but know I don't fit into it. Are there models built like me that do it anyway (and do it well)? What about fashion? editorial? nudes? I guess I'm kinda looking for inspiration.

I'm not a model, but a couple of my favorite art nude models have proportions very similar to yours.  One of them is my current avatar.

I accually prefer boobs the size of yours. I think big boobs are over rated. Yours are natural and beautiful from what I can see. For your build I wouldn't change a thing. Just my opinion....

Some of my favorite models have specialised as art nude. The perfect model for this (IMHO) is one with natural breasts and pubic hair. Needless to say, unshaven models don't tend to get underwear or bikini shoots!! You don't have any topless shots in your port but I can see there ARE breasts there (unless you use padding) so they may be smaller than average but that isn't that important. I would suggest (unless you've already done it) a shoot with a good art nude photographer. It has 2 benefits, firstly you can get an idea from him/her as to how good you look and secondly you will have some images to look at when you're old and grey so you can say 'hey, I looked great'. smile

I'm 4'10" and about the same weight as you, with pretty small breasts. They range from a solid A cup, to a mid-B cup, sometimes a bit bigger at the beginning of summer or if I'm on birth control. I also have a lower belly bump that drives me nuts and what are apparently muscles in my upper arms making them look bigger.

I do nude, mostly art nude, modeling, or at least that's what is in this port. A few examples:
https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=14372937 (18+)
https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=12248783 (18+)
https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=15239424 (18+, with smaller boobs)
https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=12571597 (18+, with larger summer boobs)

But I also do your general glamour modeling, and modeling in some vintage clothing of mine in my other port: https://www.modelmayhem.com/1254615.

I've done some modeling for a local chain maille designer: https://www.modelmayhem.com/1072380 and I'm in the process of working with another designer of themed and historic clothing. Am I 5'9" or 10", well obviously not, but I contacted them and they don't really care. Actually the second clothing designer is actually thrilled because I look taller, but he won't have to buy so much fabric. The chain maille designer just loves my look. It work well with her products. My point here is that sometimes it isn't really the way people tell you it is. You're not going to get the designers featured in Vogue or whatever, but local designers seem to always be looking for people to work with. It's not always just about height or boobs or whatever, it's about your look. And the "real" modeling world, even for "internet" models like me, doesn't exactly work like the forums make you believe it does. It really depends on the situation.

My friend Missghoulita is 5'2 and she is flat as a board just about and weighs 96 lbs.... She does implied nudes, nudes and alternative modeling

Edit: You know, us chesty petite models would love to go down a cup size, especially if they are real because hello back aches and trying to find our size in a store hmm

You have a killer face and with that, boob size should not matter.  In almost all types of photography face and body tone are far more important than boob size.  I would love to shoot with you.

At almost 5'7", you are not exactly "short", so I am sure there is SOME fashion-oriented work that you can find, without having to get naked, if that is not the route you want to go.  However, being that you are long and thin, and you don't have gigantic boobs that the viewer will instantly be drawn to, fine art photographers would LOVE you, if you do chose to do nude modeling.

Although it does help, you do not have to have to have huge boobs for successful glamour work, either....example: Christine Renee MM# 526434.  Many glamour photographers are more interested in shooting my face, not necessarily my boobs smile

Trust me, big boobs are not all they are cracked up to be wink  The name of the game is marketing yourself and networking with others...basically working your a** off!  Unless you have an agent doing everything for you (and even then THAT is sometimes not enough), you have to find what works for you, makes you special, and RUN with that!

Let the photographer to decide if you are feet for the project or not.

Don't only don't exist specific parameter for glamour or nude but as woman (even with little bobs) you have a ton of different manner for exalt your sensuality.

Legs, high heels, dress some evening dress (without bra) for example with your back naked and a good decoltee.

This is an example of your sensuality:

15 pounds ago, I mostly did art nudes.  I also did a little bit of glamour, but I was the type to have boobs and no ass, so I just didn't turn around much.  I did some fashion/editorial when a nude body was called for, but I was generally considered too short, too old and didn't have the face for it.

Models like Reby Sky have done quite well for themselves in glamour without boobs. If you have the right attitude and styling, boobs become less important.

Thank you everyone for you input so far. It's good to hear models as well as photographers' opinions. As for my size, in all my photos I have padding/bra on. I'm actually a 30AA (basically flat as a board). I'm not interested in doing nudes (might consider implieds). I just feel like since I'm not the tallest, I weigh so little and my boobs are non-existant, I'm soooo limited in what I can shoot.

im 5'7'', wee bit heavier than you and also have no boobs. I would love to offer you constructive advice on where to go but basically everyone so far has given better advice than I could. I think the idea that moulds or typical stereotypes can be broken is great ie you can do glamour with small boobs etc.

So all I really have to say is yay for small boobies!! haha

unless you're trying to fit into pre-sized clothes, your boobs and eveerything else are just fine.  it is radiance, enthusiasm, effort, energy and love of making pictures that works, not looks.  i've worked with a number of very beautiful women, and none made good images because they thought it was enough just to stand around and be looked at.  it isn't, we share life, laughter, adventures, and if you give that to a camera, you don't need anything else.  people may glance at boobs but you can bet they love a smile.  a third of my best images are of a model who couldn't fill a b cup.  norm

You're perfect that way! I like being flat chested, but I'm not thin like you, so it looks a bit unbalanced on me. But still, it's nice having compact breasts, for both practical and aesthetic reasons.

Realize that this is subjective.  It is not as cut and dry as you are making it out to be.  There are many photographers (myself included) that would love to work with someone such as you.  smile

I despise playboy style glamor..it bores me. Give me a slim 5-2 to 5-7 that will work on classical nudes. If you'll notice, you almost never see DD+ in fine art classic nudes. It would be like having two extra props when you're shooting minimalism. big_smile

A or B cups are sooo sexy and not in your face.

Everyone is right
I cant really get many fashion shoot or fine art nude shoots because I'm naturally top heavy (32DD), and when your 5.1, and under 90 lbs. its hard for photographers to dress you unless you brought your own clothes

I did a shoot for a tshirt company and almost through the whole shoot I had to severely arch my back because my chest kept over-lapping the design, v.s the A cup model and the B cup model

So even though your flat atleast you can do shoots for tshirt companies

And you wont get stuck in strapless dresses like I did last week hmm

A model I have worked with quite a few times is built very small and does quite well. It's all about expression and how you work what you got...her MM # is 892729.
