Who is coming to the S. CA meet and greet Saturday
Hey, the grand opening of the studio is on June 10th 2006. There will be guacamole and all sorts of fun people. I will be setting up one kick butt shooting space so bring a camera and shoot away. The party starts at 5:00pm, and goes until 9:30pm. This will be during the fabulous 2nd Saturday art walk so there will be plenty of other events also going on. RSVP not required but appreciated. The studio is located at: 300 S.Thomas Suite 209 (this is the old Progress Newspaper building) Pomona, Ca 91766 On June 11th 2006 I will be launching the website art-noir.net that will be filled with wonderful photos of the loft and its "sets." p.s. the painting is still a work in progress, please don't judge me on my crappy paint job, professionals are coming in next week! Nice and cozy, and got to see Star's great natural light studio, as well as see how she managed to pull together some random-seeming parts to generate some looks I certainly would never have expected. Star, it was great to finally meet you! (And Eva, Kurt, Phill, and a bunch of other folks whose names--alas--escape me at the moment . (I left the cards in the car...)
