I am sure he would be a great photographer if he actually provided his models a cd of his work as promised. I shot with him on 4/28/06 in Las Vegas, NV and I still have not received my images. I have left him numerous emails and phone messages. He checks his messages but he never tells me when I will receive my photos. Glad you were able to get your pictures but I haven't gotten mine.

I am sure that you are happy with him because you got your pictures. As for me I am still waiting. I just shot with a photographer on 5/27 and already have some new pictures. As for whats going on with Paul I am unsure why he is not able to get my pictures from our shoot on 4/28 but if there is something personally going on with him he needs to let me know. I have been in this business for years and have never had a photographer never supply me with a picture of work we did as he had promised. I am not the only one he has done this to. From my posts that I had made other models stated that he did the same thing to them. I guess your photographer is so perfect after all.

While I can understand how you might feel this sort of thing isn't cool for
lots of reasons.  Including the tag on his profile.  You just can't judge one
photographer based on another.  I can understand its been well over a month.
Sure he should let you know but maybe after your posts he's pissed and for
sure 'outing' him isn't going to work.  It also seems he shoots film so maybe
he has to scan the negatives or something else.  However this seems to have
been a TFP shoot you now know he has given his promised images to at
least one other model so please have just a bit more faith.

I dont type is all caps. Even when I am really mad. I sent nice emails but then I was forced to do what I had to do.

Yes I was in the casino scene. It was shot at the Desert Inn which is no longer a Vegas casino.

Did he charge you for the shoot?

From what I could read in the other thread, the guy donated his time for these shoots. Maybe models should try remembering that on "TFP" they're a charity case, and if he takes six months to get the shots, perhaps his business is more important than you.

No he didnt charge for the shoot and nor was I paid. I also donated my time. I was told that I would have the pictures about 10 days after the shoot. If someone promises me something I expect them to follow through with it. Just like any normal person would. Come to find out he over shot and was shooting with many other models. He advised me he would have a link of the photos up by 5/25 and that never happened. I sent him numerous private messages and finally today received the link with some of the pictures and found out that I should receive everything else next week. But it took me publicly posting stuff to get that. Sucks to be the bad guy. But I wasnt asking for a whole lot.

The joking around in here was funny.  Was it necessary, however Julianna, to bring your qualms with the photographer into a thread I started?  I mean, I can't stop you or anything as you are free to post what you want, but was there really any need for that?  You apparently had a chance to tell your story earlier, in your own post on the matter. 

I wanted to post my personal experience with Paul- in a positive manner.  Had I wanted it to be an attachment to your story- I would have posted in the thread you began. 

Beyond that, I would love to know what people think about the photos...   Thank you for all of you who remained positive in this thread.

Yes, it was necessary to set the record straight about about my experience with Paul to-date. Unfortunately until today I could not get him to respond to any of my messages. I wasn't asking for much but just a few photos to hold me over until he was able to give me the additional cd and prints.

I am glad that you have had a positive experience with him but unfortunately that is not the case with me. So when you started your own thread probably in a response to my thread that I had posted I had to make sure that everyone knew we were talking about the same person.

I am not saying that Paul is a horrible photographer because I love the work we were able to produce together. I just did not like the lack of professionalism in returning messages and phone calls. All I had were simple questions about when the photos would be ready and if he could email me a few to hold me over until I received the rest of the images. He said that he would have a link posted for me by 5/25 and that never happened. I am sure that he may not be this way with you or maybe he is but I just do not put up with this type of unprofessionalism.

From my discussions with other models on this site I am not the only one that he has done this to. I just wanted to make sure that even though you are posting good things about him in your thread that other models would be aware of my situation with him.

With all that being said and done. Paul did respond to me today and we have worked everything out. I received about 21 images through a link today as you can tell from my port and I will be receiving the rest next week via mail. So as you can see there is no further reason to keep discussing this. We have worked out what needed to be worked out.
