other than of course whose portfolio they are on, why such a disparity in views/comments?  I mean I know she is a hell of a lot nicer looking but isn't it supposed to be the IMAGE that counts?

Bob.  Models always get more.  Even the bad models who have even worse photos.  Just the way it is on the net I am afraid. bs

I think there's a cloud of ulterior motives in modeling port comments.  The more honest comments IMO fall upon the photographer's port.  However, I do take vicarious pleasure reading comments on my images in a model's port.

It could just be that her port gets more traffic and therefore, more comments. If 1 out of every 100 who visit the port comment on a pic, and you have 10 times more visitors, there you go.

Now why would one port have more visitors than another? Could be that her link is more places, she posts on the announcement box, forum, has friends on MM, etc.
