Who are the type of people you like the most that like this site and why? Don't mention names, just talk about character and personality and how people deal with drama, etc. Granted this is a website so there should not really be drama, but it does have forums and that is where it can start.

I like the people that are honest and respectulf. People that leave helpful rather than hurtful comments. Granted sometimes the truth hurts, but one should have a decent amount of Tact. I am curious to see peoples responses on this subject. I myself am kind of a silly person, but serious when need to get the job done. I do feel we have to enjoy our work and have supportive friends in this industry though. I don't care if you are a model, photographer, artist, etc. We all need those we can relate to and even look up to from time to time and return the favor when we do things that people appreciate.

I love the people that are truly proud of who they are. They are proud of their imperfections and are not stuck up. Some people on this site i've noticed while i was reading their profile say "I am the hottest thing on this site because i'm 5'9, 110 lbs with no scars, strechmarks, moles, fat blah blah blah and all i can think is you must of had a very boring life because every scar and strechmark tells a story. And yes every model in the world has their imperfections, they're just good at hiding it

Imperfections are beautiful.

I like the type of people that aren't full of themselves. I like those who offer helpful tips and advice as well. Since I am a big woman, fat model, whatever you wish to call it, I have a few plus size models who have inspired me on here. I enjoy seeing photographers and stylists on here who can find beauty in just about every living thing (even non-living...like BCG's kitchen). I love the the ones on here who can find humor in the simplest of things.

I like the people who like me for...well, me!

I agree criticism is the only way I will know how I can do better but please don't be rude and please stop telling me how short I am, I am aware.
I think I have a hard time both interpreting and being interpreted on a website because you cannot hear tone in typing and the tone can make all the difference.
I love people who can take a joke who are happy people out to increase the happiness quotient. It seams some are only out to show off and put others down.

I like people who don't take things too seriously, but who are still professional and offer good insight when the time is right. I like people who appreciate beauty regardless of what shape it takes. I like people who are open minded, but don't coddle people and leave unjustified nice comments. I also like people who look like James Graham... (hey...at least I'm honest about it)

I like people who don't see others as threats, but are willing to share techniques, ideas, skills for the benefit of all and the progression of this noble art.

When someone helps me improve. I respect them.
When I read a comment that is tearing someone down, It doesnt make me like them, it makes me think 'grow up'.

Thats why I like MM so much. Most fellow togs I've typed to have been brilliant!

My favorite people are those with a great sense of humour! Always seeing the irony in the situation, the cheaky ones!

LOL...James has his own little fan club here, doesn't he?  I can't wait to work with him when I am back in NY!

Oh...and if you're reading, James...don't worry.  Kaitlin and I will definitely *NOT* be taking this discussion offline to talk about how hot you are.  Right, Kaitlin?  LOL!

Oh yes it's similar to flan. tongue

Cosplay is short for costume play, it's where you dress like an anime character, musician, a certain profession, some sort of distinctive visual style.

My favorites are the photographers on here that can offer both constructive critiques, as well as the funny sarcastic comments in the forums.  (Having a terminal case of "smartass" myself.)  I think it shows their willingness to help, as well as their "human" side.

Edit:  Just like W.G. above me here . . .

I like working with people who work for the art, not the money. (Although money is good as long as the art isn't sacrificed in the process.)

Creative, professional, fun and energetic. That always makes for a great shoot!

Over the time I have been modeling I have met many wonderful and creative people. I'm honored to have worked with every one.

Yes, Kitapanda...cosplay is fun. I've started to get interested in it, and even have a shot or two where I tried it...I'm going to do more soon. I want to do like a plus size Sailor Moon sometime...she's just so cute!

I most enjoy people who are really trying to do something different and who are striving to push the boundaries of their craft in both artistic and technical ways.  I also like people who are open minded, honest and expressive in their personal views.  I don't mind terse, though I dislike close mindedness.

I like people who don't feel the need to use others to get where they are, and to get there by whatever means necessary, but would rather work jointly with others to create something unique and inspiring, and who value each person they work with for what that person contributes. No one in this business is successful solely by him or herself. Teamwork is key. And, even if you just shot landscapes, you'd still need an audience. ;-)

I like people who give their input out of a desire to help, and not just simply out of arrogance, or because they like to hear themselves talk (type). I have little use for arrogance and utter bullshit. I like people who are honest and forthright, but not unnecessarily abusive. I enjoy a great sense of humor, and a bit of shear sarcasm is completely fine. I am happy to spit milk out of my nose in laughter! I just don't like it when others feel the need to viciously degrade another person just to prove a point or win an argument (as so often happens here in the forums).

I love it when creativity and proficiency meet up. I enjoy seeing creative, expressive and emotive images. I love bright, vivid colors... clean and dramatic lighting... and the effective use of b/w. I love people who give you wonderful scenery and props and not just boring grey backgrounds image after image. I thrive on strong concepts and effective compositions. I like romance and humor. I love it when images speak to you. Make me feel and think. Make me laugh. Just don't bore me!

I completely dislike tasteless pornographic images and "CFM" facial expressions. They are so overdone and simply bore me to tears. Bending over half-naked, while holding your breasts and putting a finger in your mouth is NOT SEXY!!! Lame! Gorry images are just gross. No thank you.

I also hate incessant whining. You can't change the world, or the minds of most people in it. Say your peace, then move on. Fifty posts bashing the same topic is just pointless. At least MM doesn't waste paper!! If it did... I'd be really pissed off!

I also LOVE IT when people can tell me WHY they like an image in my (or anothers) portfolio. If you like the concept, styling, expression, etc... say so. Just saying... 'you're hot'... is not useful. I mean thanks.... but you can do better, you know?! ;-)

That's enough from me for now. Next...
