What do you think the positives are or negatives when it comes to the adult industry for the economy and the people who use it's products?

I think that when I had to do my 6 essays on porn and child trafficking for sex trade in America I used the library and books.

I think any money that flows from one pocket to the other is good for the economy. Porn or not. Actually I like porn for the economey much of it is still produced in america unlike everything else that we import. American girls shooting for american companies to be bought and sold in american stores.

The US could not exist without the money that the porn and drug industries Add to our economy..

Our leaders are just as money hungry as Pimps

It will not go away

So if we all just look the other way like sheep it is kool..

Just as long as we spend more money on it!!

The porn industry has had a major impact on the technology of content production and distribution - things that were later picked up and exploited by mainstream media.

Very true. There and article in a foreign men's mag (can't think of the name right now) that spoke on this. Said that the reason that VCR/VHS tapes took off, and not the Beta Max was that VHS was willing to work with the porn industry. So they learned their lesson by the time DVD came around.  Also, in times of economic hardship, the porn industry is rarely affected.

That's one example, but there are many more.  Streaming video on the 'net is another, and there are a whole lot of them.
