I had a GREAT shoot with Angel Tara today (3211)

We had a blast! I can't wait to see the images.

I shot her at *******  Base. We started out in a hangar doing a construction shoot on a stairwell/truck.

Then we moved to a submarine flood simulator room and shot a wedding theme there. I was going to use the firemans outfit, but the coat was disgustingly nasty. So instead we went into the supply hallway and shot a pink bikini there. Those are going to be HOT!!

After that, we did a sports jersey and undies theme on the workout equipment, and finally we closed it out with a nice roll of dress fashion on top of a podium.

Overall I had a blast, even though we had to be extremely quiet. Angel Tara is a terrific model, very poised and she needed NO direction from me, which doesn't happen too often, but that's because I mainly shoot a lot of nubes. So she was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend her highly.

Oh and Shaquiann, I got your damn IZM Magazine interview, you owe me a grilled cheese sandwhich.... Swiss cheese only!

Congrats smile Hitting it off with a model and making them comfortable  with you is so critical to getting good shots. I guess positive threads aren't too popular around here...

Sounds like you had fun.

It's nice to work with someone who has experience sometimes...

But new faces can be good too.

Either way, shooting is always the fun part.

Even though I've only been a photographer (so called) for about a year, I've never had a bad session with any model.

I guess I'd hate to hear some war stories from both models and photographers of when things went wrong.

Monsante, how did you get authorization to shoot at a military base? I work on Ft Lewis in Washington St and know you need special permission to shoot in most areas.

I'm sure they'll come out well. I have a 90% success rate with film.

And yes, it's become a bit negative around here. Look how many responses this thread has compared to any thread concerning TFP. I can't compete with them. HAHA!!

We need more success stories.

Jack, I was watching TV late last night and came across an old Lassie episode on a family channel. Made me think back to when I was a little boy like Timmy with a dog
