Hello y'all!

Do the make up artists/hair stylists need to sign a release form as well, besides the model/photographer? I have an upcoming TFCD shoot, and I am doing research on release forms. Thanks!

Cheers

For what it's worth, when I do a TFP/CD or test shoot I use a Release that includes all participants and includes what deliveralbles there will be, usage, dates, and editing approvals.  I fully believe in making sure we all know what we get and what to expect.  I call my Release a Project Release because I consider TFP/CD a "project".   smile  But more important than the release is my word (I know I'll get flamed for that remark - but ask ANYONE who has worked with me and you will know what I mean).

I don't think make-up artists and hair stylists need to sign a release.  There are forms available for those who want them though:
Model Release
Make-up Artist Release
Hair Stylist Release

What you may need is a usage agreement but,
try these threads.

I make no claim to whether the information is correct.
I just point you to the water.   I did not test it to see if it is poisioned.

Stylists and MUA's do not need to sign a release.

What you should do is have a 'written contract' in place stating exactly what your end of the deal is, money, prints, jelly beans, whatever.

Even if a TFP still get a contract so six months latter when you're still waiting for prints you can bitch about it!

Good luck.

Thanks for all your reply! I think what I'll do is do a "Project Release Form" just like what Mark Anderson said, just to be sure that the photographer, model, MUA and hair stylists know what the purpose of the shoot is and what we all get out of doing the shoot, even if it is just a TFCD collaboration.

Thanks for all the help!

Cheers
