You've seen the head  shots  with  flowers all over the models head/ hair with such vivid colors. So how does one make such a flower arrangement for a models head/hair? any ideas or suggestions?

The one I have here as my avitar is just a strand of silk flowers wrapped around her head (hairpulled back) and set into place with bobby pins. If it's just for a fashion shoot it doesn't need to last all day or look good from every angle- be creative and play with it.

Check out Michael Hall's work on MM #21934... he ROCKS!!! Especially with big hair/theme ideas.

It helps to build it on a wig, use other hair pieces, hot glue, thread, wire ... whatever it takes!

For the mermaid look, I used hot glue, netting, fake hair, shells, etc and created her crown and bra. I'll post a pic shortly...

For Ms. Shelley's Hair I used her own hair as a base.....I pinned it into two very tight knots.......I then treated the knots as if they were the foam base that is used in flower arranging.........I then placed the flowers keeping in mind my intended theme of Asiatic Dragonfly Goddess!

On Ms. Joshel, I actually cut a foam ball in half and hollowed it out.....I pinned it to her crown and covered it with hair......I wrapped a portion of feathers around her head and began to arrange the flowers.......I finished by using individual feathers on her face and hairline.........

Hope that helps some!
