Once I'm up, I can function just fine....but actually leaving is really hard.  Plus, I have no life during the day, so that makes it easy to stay on and not find one........

I'm totally addicted!  I logged on to upload a few photos and check mail and now I've just realized I haven't eaten yet today.  My butt has fallen asleep from sitting in front of my computer.  Ok, now I'm leaving to process stuff in my darkroom..........seriously!

Doh!!!!

Yes, to an embarrasing degree. Thank God I'm in the middle of a slow period at work, or I'd be in trouble.

I'm hoping the novelty will wear off soon and my life will go back to normal.

It's addictive. People are often addicted to forums. Especially ones which focus on their primary interests. I try to always keep off it at work, and I generally stay away from the off topic stuff. After a while it will get a bit old, and I'll spend less time on it. For now though, I just joined recently, so I post a fair bit.

Just because this is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night, that doesn't mean I'm addicted.

Hello, my name is Brooke and I am an MM addict. Seriously, it's bad. Right now my semester is over and I have all this stupid time on my hands. Sometimes I just force myself to turn off my laptop and put it aside. That way I can't click on it every commerical or something. smile But..........of all the things one could be addicted to, I would say it could be worse. smile

I was like that, but recently there just seriously have not been enough hours in the day to finish everything I need to finish. The past month, 3 hours sleep a night was an accomplishment. 3 all nighters a week, 5 in one week was the worst. Things  are slowly getting better, but I won't be back to normal for another week or two sad

Ask yourself why you're here.

Are you here for networking?
You'll meet a helluva lot more people this way than in little g2g's, and the range of participants range across the world...can't get that in a social gathering.  So what's wrong with sitting at home (or at the office, *uh hum*) and doing a little networking.

Are you here for education?
When I was first told about this site I was also told to READ THE FORUMS...there's a lot of good information from a lot of good people.  There's a lot of opinions here (mine included) and stories and experiences.

So is "addicted to networking" a bad thing?

Is "addicted to learning" a bad thing?

I say no.  Or call me addicted then... I'm ok with that smile
