I am relatively new to the industry but I'm already noticing the prejudice amongst photographers and "plus" size models. I am 5'10", 175 lbs, and a size 10... Regardless, I'm noticing that photographers are having hard time capturing the essence of me. The angles are horrible and I come off looking 4 sizes bigger than I really am in some pictures. At first I thought it was me but after some research and some long hard thought I've realized that the photographers just aren't trying as hard. Its as if they dont care as long as they collect their payment and for the TFP's Ive done I dont get any recognition. Every photographer that I have worked with is on MM, MP, and OMP and I'm not in any of their portfolios. I finally had a photographer tell me that the pictures that he took of me was not his best work. HA! This is not a self-esteem issue... I love the pictures in my port but I want the photographer to be as proud of his work as I am of mine. So basically I want all of my plus size models and the photographers that love them to give me a piece of their minds.....
