Does anyone else think they overdo their editing? I wish they used more blending techniques, I keep seeing stuff that looks like smudge tool

Mall store + $20 = photoshop action, not art.

My friends family spent 2000 dollars at glamour shots...and they edited out all their freckles. It's creepy.

Glamour Shots is expensive!  Years ago, when I didn't know any better, I went there for some pictures of myself.  For my $20.00 (and this was years ago, it may have been more than $20), all I got were the proofs.  To buy any of the pictures would have cost a hell of a lot more than I wanted to spend.  It was a sadly disappointing experience.

I do... but most of my photos are on the artistic side. It's probably stating the obvious but the closer the source is to the vision, the less editing needed. I'm improving so I've been finding myself spending lesser time in post.

-edit: doh, you're talking about a store

Oh yeah and talk about airbrushing/editing.  They were REALLY overdone.  The worst pictures EVER taken of me in my life and that's saying a lot since I've had some really bad pictures taken of me.

Glamour shots...
Not really glamourous nor, for that matter, "shots."
