ok I wanted to post a question myself on makeup tips, but, I'm looking more for application tips.  I have some Studio Tech foundation and concealer, the nice lady @ the MAC counter helped oodles when it came to applying.

I am participating in a shoot tomorrow in which there is no makeup artist (that I know of) on board.  I have done my makeup before, for like my first and second shoot ever, but I want to get better results.  I have bought some of the HiPigment makeup from Loreal, and I was just wondering if any of you can give me any pointers!  I have the base covered, which would be foundation and concealer to cover the dark spots and even out skin tones, but I'm interested in techniques for eye shadow, cheeks and whats the best color for the lips when using high pigment colors. 

If anyone has picture examples of whats right and whats wrong, that would be awesome too!
