believe it or not - you might want to try the costume store on E11 and Broadway - They have a make up and accersaries section. You can get things to use for your purposes that may have never been intended

these little "hats" are easy to make. just get some mesh and some feathers and some beads, and a hot glue gun and have a crafting moment. I made one like the second image for a film i just worked on as the wardrobe person couldnt find what she was looking for, i poped down to the fabric store picked up $2 worth the wide mesh, A fish net nylon would owrk too if you spray starched it. And I added feathers and vwallah i hat. I will see if I have a picture.......

Yisell...you know ebay is your best friend right? look up "vintage hat" and then narrow the search to "US".

I actually have a few hats like that...haha
