i have just the other day gotten CS@ and installed, yes it is a legal version, the problem i am having is that the text is not doing what it's supposed to do...
the problem is that the size is not the size that i want.
at 72 it is tooooo small, at 100, slightly bigger, at 300, same size as 100.

at 100 or 300, it looks like about actually 24 or so.
i have worked with a friends PS7 and i know what i'm doing, but the font size is not doing what it is supposed to be doing
can anyone help??? please!!!!!

thanks...ge

Is it set to points or pixels?

What is the resolution setting of the file? (This makes a huge difference on how text behaves.)

Is it possible that your image or canvas size is (accidentally?) set to an extremely large number?

What I mean is, there's a drop down menu where you can specify how large or small the photo is supposed to be.  You can type in the numbers, and select from a menu of 'pixels, percent, inches, picas, millimeters', and probably even larger units like feet or meters.

If you've selected 8x10 FEET instead of Inches, the image will automatically be resized for ease of viewing on your monitor, but text or other pre-sized images will end up appearing extremely small.
