Notice how he goes from complimenting your look to immature name-calling (calling you a WANNABE model)...just because he didn't get the "Sure, I'm interested!" response from you that he wanted...lol.  Don't even worry about that so-called opportunity.  You have a lot of class, and that clown with the atrocious grammar isn't even worth your time.  He's the one with the attitude problem; not you.  He should've respected the fact that you were just trying to check things out to avoid being scammed (which was smart), but instead he got all nasty just because you were using your common sense and inquired.

The gmail e-mail address and New York has got me curious...Was "websitemodels" in the first part of that e-mail address?

I was initially quite insulted by his response, but mostly because I was caught off-guard. I've "met" quite a few people through MM in the the short time I've been a member, but never anyone quite as rude as him!

Just to answer your question, no, "websitemodels" wasn't the first part of his email address...that would've been a HUGE clue that the "project" wasn't legit...  smile

does anyone actually beleive the photog was actually hired directly by Jimmy Choo to find models for a shoot, and then to have to fly them NYC

what!? we dont got enough models here already that we got to fly them in?

the ad company, or casting director doesnt know any previous models who already were successful modeling their shoes? WTF! what they dont use the same models over again?!

i certainly dont believe it was a legit gig for jimmy choo

maybe you'd be making fetish images/films wearing some jimmy choo's he picked up at a sample sale recently though

'F' him (not literally though)

I think most of the models he approached on here are new at the "game," so many of them immediately responded by sending him pics of their feet, as requested... ewww...

As much confidence as I have in myself, I cannot honestly believe that Jimmy Choo would rather have an amateur model from DC than an experienced one from a top agency in NYC...  smile

Even MORE suspicious!!!!   Once again.....a designer like Jimmy Choo...or anyone assiociated with him ain't gonna be looking for talent on the 'net! Especially when they have access to top models at some of the biggest agencies in NYC.

Moreover, when big companies outsource for products or information, they generally don't want their name ran off unless absolutely necessary to those that absolutely need to know at the absolute proper time.

Veena is one of the most polite, educated, classy,  people ever walked into my studio, I wont be surprised if she took the time to respond , driven by her ambition, and her great manners, yet I believe she smart enough not to fall into those sickly traps that some sickly people set, adding her feet pics to their huge coleection of other's, I heard this story on Craiglist before (One hundred dollars to photograph females feet ), MM is growing into a fabulous community, great photographers and great models, great awareness.

(the following offer is not real, and any similarity to real persons, places, and things is prurely coincidence, plese do not respond for this gig)

hi i am doing a shoot for ah, let me see, ah, oh yeah Teno stainless steel jewelry, here in ah, yeah, ah NYC thats it. and we want to fly you here and put you up at the, hmm, ah, oh yeah, the four seasons hotel, but no escorts are allowed with you, and we need you to send us one or 2, no ha, several, nope, wait, make it about 30, graphic nude images of yourself, preferable while wet

you'll be wearing teno stainless jewelry in the most strangest of places while bathing nude. to go with our new motto, "teno stainless steel, for no matter how wet you get"
