hi i'm new here and i need some help when a photographer offer you a shoot what sort of questions do you ask them about the shoot
so if anyone can give any advice i would be very greatful.

First of all, try asking why they are interested in you and what makes you unique in their eyes.  Will you be paid for you time and how will they use the images....for their personal work or are they looking to sell the image later on.  Ask if you will be signing a "model release" form, since they cannot sell the image for profit unless they have you sign this form or something similar.
Will you get a copy of the image and can you get a digital file for your records...even the final retouched image if possible.
There are many reasons why someone sees beauty in others, it's important for you to know how you fit in, so you can be your best to their creative process and experience it just the same.
Be careful and choose with you mind...if in doubt, throw it out.

Hope that helps a bit.  And make sure they at least feed you that day of the shoot.  There's nothing worse then a rude photographer.  The day should be fun.

Determine exactly what you are getting for compensation and when.

Read and understand the release before a shoot.
