Honest to god... these are "couture" doggie designs.

Ugghhhhh,  I do love when my ladies take a bath before coming over for me to sniff them.  But too overdressed,  well maybe for a female but even I who had my balls cut off would rather freeze my willy off than wear a sweater.

But as I stated none of my ladies wear off the rack.  No, off the rack for Jack.   It had better be fine material,  with all the best care in making the clothing,   just like I like my ladies.

But I guess I cannot go to the Oscars naked,  but no crappy K-mart crap for this pup.  Pllllleeeeaaaassseee.

And I am glad to see that you humans are tackling the important issues of the industry.   Well, we all need to smile and laugh.  At least my hunnies do not take themselves so seriously.  My hunnies also have to bring in the cash to support me in a lifestyle that my lazy human could never provide for me.

What?,  you do not expect me to work, do you?
The twins are my favorite but get the last one out of that outfit and out of the water fountain.  I drink out of that thing.

But when are humans going to design clothes for dogs that ACTUALLY look good.  Come on,  who any human here wear and outfit like that if it fit?

Maybe I do not want an answer to that considering some of the photos I have been able to poop on around here.   Go to go my 2;30 vistors are arriving soon and I have to lick myself.
Ahhh,  sometimes it is good to be a dog.

Ashley brought her little 'super model' dog to our photoshoot and it didn't pee all over the place. I was so knocked out.

you can blame the french for the doggie clothes, in france they're allowed to sit at the table for dinner the waiter even brings dogs their own plate and everything.... plus there are wigs and stuff for the pups! and a whole lot more than that... i'm ashamed to be french for that tiny little thing... poor dogs... well not about the sitting at the table thing that's nice but the terrible clothes for them.  how r they supposed to play!?!??! my mom tried to dress our dog... he ripped and shredded the clothes LOL

miss lula actually loves her clothes, shes not fond of hats but like her shirts and sweaters she LOVES. Shes an attention whore so when shes got her clothes on she knows shes going to get even more attention that normal...if you get the right size they can play in them just fine.

Aww ... they are cute!  LOL  ... an age limit?  Good question! But do you mean as far as too young to be on ModelMayhem ... they might be?  As far as I know, the older ones are just as adored as the younger ones by their human owners.

But what about cats? I like both cats and dogs, so I demand equaltiy for cats! LOL

Pet models are nothing new.
There are also animal talent agencies.

http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/resource … states.htm
"Americans spent 32.4 billion dollars on their pets in 2003"
"there are now more pets than people in the US (377.8 millions pets; 290 million people)"

It's a booming business.

Yeah...this is not new. I saw in ZINK mag where they dressed up elephants in couture, complete with pearl earrings and jewelry. Were the elephants cheaper? Hellz no. Was the clothing cheaper...um...can you imagine outfitting an ELEPHANT in CHANEL????

But hey...its all going to the dogs...um, animals.

Soon they will be strutting the runway in couture.

Put Mr Winkle in couture..now THAT would be cute.
