Hello everyone, my name is Jenny.  I am a freelance MUA, and I also work freelance for MAC.  I am really just looking to better my portfolio, so TFP's and TFCD's are definately an option.  My question right now is, should I be looking for models to work with, or photographers who already have models?  I ask because when it comes to models, I obviously have my preferances as far as looks go, so if I was to go with a photographer, do I have to use who he is working with, or can you bring models to them?  In other words do I get to choose who I want to work with, especially if I'm doing TFCD's and such?  I am really new to the whole, model/photographer thing, so I'm not sure where to look first :$.

If you are very selective about what you are looking for in models then seek out models but if you are jus looking to build your port then I would go with seeking out a photog who already has models. Being that I am not in you shoes, I am not really sure what i would do.
     But you may want to talk to a photog and make the arrangement that benifits the both of you, like you will do the makeup for some of his models, if in return he shoots some models that you have selected for your port. This is a deal that I would personally accept.
