Geography and attractiveness.
I live in San Diego. On the "Nelson Relative Hotness of Women (RHW) Scale" San Diego women are about 5 on a scale of 1-10. On my first trip to Atlanta in 20 years I found that women there rated something like 6, or 7 at the airport. When visiting Winnipeg a new record was set at 8.5, but I did stay near the university and that probably skewed the results. Minneapolis gets a 6. Washington, D.C. - 7. Dallas - 5. Ft. Worth - 6. St. Louis - 2.5. Hollywood - 5.5. South Miami Beach - 8. Hamburg - 3.5. London - 4.5. The traffic is so bad that alot of Athenians opt to walk because it's faster than dealing with the traffic...
