Acronymic
Am I the only person who is feeling like a teenager with the use of so many acronyms on this site? I know as a society we think "faster is better", however I find that I get lost in translation when I have to rack my brain to figure out some of the acronyms. So will you kind Model Mayhem alumni & newbies use this thread to assist me with the translation of the acronymous language used so I don't feel like I am locked in a box (like my daughter acuses when I am new to anything nowadays)! Thank you so much. PS. Please also include which one are "good" uses and those that should never be used!  Mar 13 06 08:14 am Link tog~ a shortened version of Photographer. Do not use. Is insulting to a good 90% of the photographers on this site, and makes some very angry. Best to just type out photographer instead. tfp~ time for prints. Time for prints is an exchange of the model's time, for photographer's print outs. tfcd~ Same thing, only model's time for a cd of images instead. MUA~ Make up artist. That's all I can think of.
