I've seen a few discussions here about models acting unprofessional and demanding. Are they all women, or has anyone had an experience with men in the business acting like that?

most of the people who work in the urban field are like that, i've seen some people who are divas and couldnt even spell the word, lol.

but sometimes you have to let them be the diva so they can learn like one too, lol.

now on this forum - the photographers are hands down diva's, even a dead person from the 1800's can tell you that

I know that Yanni's girlfriend is a Diva.   He hurt his finger.
Kill me now,  I cannot live without his music.

I'm not terribly thrilled with the evolution of the definition of the word 'diva".  See below:

A diva is a female opera singer, but now the term also refers to a popular female performer of non-operatic works. The term was originally used to describe a woman of rare, outstanding talent, but many believe the word is currently overused, especially in the media, to describe any female performer who has experienced even a modicum of success. The term derives from an Italian word meaning "goddess", which, in turn derives from the feminine form of a Latin word divus, meaning "divine one".

Stupidity is the enemy, I don't work nor assiciate with stupid people.  If a stupid person shows up on one of my gigs, they get sent home immediately.

I have absolutely no tollerance for stupidity, be it a model, a performer, an employee, a friend, etc...

In this day in age when there is so much technology and so many ways to be educated, there is just no excuse for being or acting stupid.

Yes!  But you have got to love it when pretty girls get away with being so ignorant!  I'm glad you don't feel this way.  You look at models more than a body but an actual person.

Back on topic.  Whenever I run into a diva model I just tell them how it is.  "What are you going to bank on when you lose your good looks?"

I think it would be "dura" if you are referring to a female model (“durakâ€? is masculine [where I come from anyway]).

I think you are confusing stupidity with ignorance, and that is just stupid....you are no longer my friend now.

Yuriy, I stand corrected, I am learning your  language, the nuances are tough.

Yeah, I tried to teach it to a friend before... He was a little confused, but I explained that most words fit into at least 1 of 4 'nuances' (aside from singular and plural of course).

Masculine or Feminine
&
Formal or Informal

Once you pick that up it gets very easy (well, much easier anyway ;-)).

Hit me up sometime once you’ve got some more down (or not lol) :-).

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
