Have 1 roll of film.... You are a model being 'shot'... Or a photographer looking for something to shoot... How do you use it? Mar 05 06 02:04 pm Link What??? With one roll of film, I'll give you about 26 distinct different images that you can use. What is your question, really? Mar 05 06 02:06 pm Link Well, since I shoot digital...we just fill it up, download to computer and continue... Mar 05 06 02:08 pm Link Oops/ Mar 05 06 02:09 pm Link Ok - You only have 1 exposure left... How will you leave your mark.. It is the last and only images anyone will see of your work.. How do you represent it. Mar 05 06 02:09 pm Link Nudes. If she says no what have you really lost? You wouldn't have been ther long anyway. Mar 05 06 02:10 pm Link lol I shoot the same as the other frames with slight changes. We pick the best from the set...not just the "last" image. Mar 05 06 02:10 pm Link markcomp wrote: LOL.. Mar 05 06 02:10 pm Link Jeeberz people.. Hypathetically speaking... It's not digital... It's film You have no computer - Just the few pictures - let's make it 1 picture... That one picture is the only one that gets developed - and it will be seen and viewed as you - What would you shoot......... Is this making sense! Mar 05 06 02:11 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: Not to boast... but... if I have only one exposure left... I have made my "mark" several times in the previous frames and the shoot is over. Mar 05 06 02:13 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: Well, if this is the case, I'd photograph myself. Mar 05 06 02:16 pm Link they do something similar to this every year in toronto... it's called naked in the house... 12 photographers, 1 nude model, 1 camera, 1 roll of film each and 30 minutes in a location they've only seen pictures of before... http://nakedinthehouse.com Mar 05 06 02:16 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: That is so situational, just depends on so many factors Mar 05 06 02:17 pm Link UdoR wrote: All right now - are you being thrifty and squeezing 26 out of a 24 exposure roll, or............ Mar 05 06 02:18 pm Link Jeeze with a name like InDecisivE canât you make up your mind Mar 05 06 02:19 pm Link Bruce Talbot wrote: LOL... actually, most 24 roll of film give you 26 or 27 exposures. Mar 05 06 02:19 pm Link UdoR wrote: LOL - I'm sorry... It makes sense somewhere in my goofy mind... Mar 05 06 02:20 pm Link DeBoer Photography wrote: LOL... Something in the water.. I dunno. Mar 05 06 02:20 pm Link JM Dean wrote: Thanks... I wanted to include her name somehow in my posts as well... Mar 05 06 02:20 pm Link JM Dean wrote: Amazingly.. - No. lol Mar 05 06 02:21 pm Link This is the "would have, could have, should have" of shooting, the idea that comes when the equipment is packed up and out away, and you're happy with all you've done... then it strikes you, "damn, I would have, could have, should have taken X". LOL Mar 05 06 02:22 pm Link Hypothetically... If I were a photographer with a camera with only ONE frame to expose...and I were photographing a beautiful model... We would do a lot of pre-visualization and going through different poses and camera angles (possibly for years and years) and possibly never actually click the shutter... Cause then the whole model/photographer thingie would be over. Mar 05 06 02:22 pm Link DeBoer Photography wrote: Unless, of course, I'm allowed to buy more film. Mar 05 06 02:25 pm Link OK, InDe, your turn.... its the last shot and you, as the model, are collaborating.... what's the shot going to be? Mar 05 06 02:25 pm Link jac3950 wrote: LOL - I dunno, I was thinking.. I'm not sure i can even answer my own question... Mar 05 06 02:28 pm Link If it's the last roll of film I'll ever shoot-that seems to indicate my own death or some sort of SHTF situation and I know it then I'm going to set he camera on auto and have her and I rolling naked in the grass together. If it's another situation I'd like to catch the mussleflash perfectly as I'm shot. Mar 05 06 02:30 pm Link Also, after I've gotten bored with pre-visualizing and going through different poses and camera angles with that particular model... I send her out the door without clicking a picture... And hook up with another model so we can do it all again... This way, I don't lose my "photographer" status...and can continue doing photography without actually taking any pictures... My image would be "blank" because I'd be on a continual search for the "perfect" subject and condition...which may never happen... Mar 05 06 02:31 pm Link Just a Thank You - For you all trying to participate in my not so clear attempt at a thread. Mar 05 06 02:33 pm Link Wait! I think this avatar was from the last few frames. I think I asked the model and she wanted some clothes on. But I'm old and can't remember... -D Mar 05 06 02:33 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: Remember only one shot. So it would have to be in the bushes on a rock by the lake. Not that it matters cause only your eyes would be showing Mar 05 06 02:33 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: Without much light, you'd better hope the exposure is perfect...or there may not be much of an image to look at... Mar 05 06 02:35 pm Link JM Dean wrote: Not only my eyes.. .But the only thing 'in focus'.. the only distinct part of me to make out...... The backround and setting would be clear, and probably a shadow, or outline of 'me'........... Mar 05 06 02:36 pm Link InDecisivE wrote: You'd probably need PS to do that. Are we allowed to use PS?
