I've been wanting to get into the hair/makeup industry for quite some time now.....anyone have any tips on where to start?  How about some good schools in NYC?

I recomend a workshop with excellent MUA named Candace Corey. She is out of Chicago but travels the country doing 3 day workshops, 2 makeup workshops and 1 Biz one. She rocks. If you have the talent, she will bring it out of you. In my opinon that and testing testing is all you need. Check her out, she will be in NYC/NJ in May.
