Well ya sort of - I mean - With all the things that go in that girls mouth I would hope she knew which one worked best - hahaha.. .

Also, doing nudes is not doing porn. Jenna does porn, i dont think you're talking about posing the way jenna does. That is the misconception. I've seen plenty of amazing nudes that do not come anywhere near porn. ... unless your real question is weather or not you should do porn. nude Art magazines are not Porn magazines. (well.. there are always those elitists)

More power to you!  Everybody does "porn" but the camera's usually off.  Jenna Jameson did porn with the camera on.  She now heads a $30 million dollar enterprise that's still growing.  More power to HER.

And I bet you that most of the male population would care a heck of a lot more about their toothpaste!

So you can no longer do... this, that and that other thing!

Why is that?!?!

Almost everyone does nudes these days, I don't understand the problem - Why is it that some magazines and/or photographers look so down upon "Well I've already seen you naked"...

All I heard when I first started modeling was "if you do nudes, you'll go nowhere, all the 'famous' people didn't do them, so if you do - your screwed"...

Where does this misconception come from - and why is in some cases it's true - and it others it's not...

I seem to think I get more work because I'll do them - I have almost or little restrictions on any of the work I do - Then again becoming well known or famous in this industry is not really my priority - But what if it was...... *think, think, think*...

**blabbing** - Let me know your thoughts!

there is nothing wrong with nudes as art! (some are awsome)
i don't shoot nudes (for pesonal reasons) but i don't look down on those that do!
i have alot of models that don't give me the time of day because i don't!
i believe there is room for models and photographers that don't!
just my opion.........

This is the part that bothers me - For someone to say this means that there is a suggestion that "seeing you naked" is the ONLY goal.

Beware of pervs disguising themselves as industry folk.

The problem is you get what you do. If you do nude early and often all you will get is offers to do nudes, which results in you being labeled artistic nude model or worse erotic nude (worse being if you desire to be mainstream commercial). And yes Ivory not hiring a model soley cause she does fetish stuff is less than kool, but its thier money and there is a long line of models that havent done nudes that want it.

My advice is find your spot in modeling and spend most of your time there. Mainstream comercial model sith 2 or3 tasteful art nude in her port and the rest comercial/fashion is fine. Profile says wants to do Mainstream comercial and port has 2-3 comercial/fashion and the rest fetish/art/erotic nudes. Ill move to the next one to represent JC Penny, etc.

One thing is true if you do porn, even soft core early on its hard to ever come back from that. Dont care why just is. Name one person who did palyboy early on (before any other major modeling, acting , singing gig) and ever got out of porn. I dont know of any SG models that move beyond art shoots (as in to comercial/ fashion).

The world is a game and those paying the bill (companies hiring) set the rules, you can complain about it or learn to play it well.

Go to the source - I mean that girl probably brushes her teeth a lot - I'm sure she has a good idea about which ones are promotable and which ones aren't.

Most consumers don't associate "fresh clean teath/breath" with a porn star.  It's simple consumer behavior & marketing before it's about our industry... : P

Bottom line, if you want "I do nude" banner stapled to your forehead and you actually want to primarily do nude work, go for it... I'm sure there's demand, and lots of money.  If you want to prioritize your marketability in the commercial/print market, which is also where a lot of money is, stay away from it.  Most advertisers are trying to reach as much people as possible, including the conservative ones, therefore most clients do not want to take the risk of losing half it's potential customers over a model that is associated with nudity. Sure, sex sells, but to maximize the marketability of a product, most clients go for the subtle "sexy" aka attractiveness, not association to overt nudity.

I guess it the type of nudes that you do..
Are they garage glamour nudes ? which most likely some pervert is playing their pogo stick googling at them. Like internet pay sites stuff, or are they fine art nudes which deserve respect.
A lot of fashion in Europe has some nudity in it. In the USA a lot of nudity is basicly
wanta F-Her or Him based (doing like they do it on the aniaml channel). Overseas Sex and nudes are treated with more respect for the sensual part and the passion behind it.
Many of the top supermodels have shed their clothing for fine Art or fashion based nudes. I don't have much respect for the models who pose for garage glamour.
Yes I have shot a model for Playboy and I have shot a couple of pornstars.
One of the pornstars told me that I did some of the best work she every had done because I didn't make her look like a piece of meat. I have shot several models who I brought in for doing nudes but the I got better shots of them with their clothing on.
The Type of nudes you do mean alot.
My first nude I ever did was a male nude and Yes I am a heterosexual male
( who is single) lol  and I still shoot male and female nudes.
I have great respect for the model who shed their clothing but it's what they take their clothing off for  That means alot.

And Yes I am always looking for models with a non pornstar look for doing nudes

Maybe this sounds silly..

But if I do a shoot for Maxim - and I have some clothes on, i'm covered... Yet giving this look like "oh you want a piece" "come and get it"... It portrays the same thing - almost as if I were nude...

But to me - that's where the perverts come in - some girl just teased the hell out of me now I want the rest, why not skip all the jazz - all the games... put everything right there in the open... I dunno... - It's all You - It's all Us, everybody has the same parts, maybe just a little different...

Whether i'm naked or not - it's still me, still the same thing.. - just a different cast for a different role.

Not sure how many maxim model get gigs with crest. But the point is true its the sexuallity not the nudity that gives the bad rep. But a lot of people and companies cant seperate nudity from sexuality. Sucks, but dont like it, dont audition.
