why is that people keep insisting on starting threads about dead horses.  We talk and talk and talk and talk and...well...the horse is dead.  Sometimes they are of a different size, different color, and a different breed, but the result is always the same.  The horse dies from all the constant beating.

Seriously folks, how about we try letting...oh I dunno, at least a few weeks or months go by before gathering together to beat another dead horse.

Who's with me?

Good idea. I've seen other forums where they do just that. The mods will move a thread to a section titled, ta-da! "Dead Horses"

It really, really cut down on all the crud. Everyones still free to talk about it, they just have their own space for it.

Yeah, I don't know.

I really think Nikon is better for shooting nudes using alien bee strobes for lighting with models that are under age who bring their mom and drapy shit to the studio that has wronkled up sheets for back drops.

Damn. I thought this thread was actually about dead horses.  Like Trigger.  Or the kind they make glue from.
Or that yummy Dutch delicacy, parde rookvlees.
But nooooo, just another dead horse of another color.

Trigger is dead and stuffed in the Roy Rogers museum in Branson, MO, but he lives in my memory with Roy, Dale, Bullet Gabby and NellieBelle.

Ah, yes...

-Frustration with TFP

-New models who charge

-Is _____ a scam?

-I hate the president

-I love the president

-Nikon vs Canon

-What's a GWC?

-Am I a GWC?

-Why do models with nudes say they won't do nudes?

-Why won't they let me walk the runway with big people?

-Model who didn't show up

On any given day, any of these subjects will pop up for the gazillionth time.  Never fails...

Ah, well, that's a dead horse of another color.  If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.  A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse.  That's what makes horse races.  A horse is a horse is a horse, of course.  You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him come up with new ideas for threads on Model Mayhem.

Because those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Oh, no!  We're DOOMED!

But, in all seriousness...

There is no such thing as a dead horse when the audience is constantly being restocked with green horns.

"Better to beat a dead horse than a live one."

From the PETA statement of principles.

Actually each new person may have the same or similar questions.complaints so to them it's not the 'same ol' same ol' as it is to someone that lives here.

The search feature?  certainly but how many times do yuo personally search before posting?

Do they allow that kind of violent imagery on MM?  I'm gonna have nightmares, now...

EDIT:  I have a friend who works with Habitat for Horses who would probably burst into flames if she saw that.  LOL!

Was the model located off myspace LOL

I agree also but it seems like most of the participants in the forums don't pay  attention to the real matters or questions or requests

You haven't told me yet if your boyfriend is capable of beating me up.  I'm not gonna fly you up here just to get my ass kicked.

Oh...umm...no hotel, you can crash at my place...my room...and food and room "service" will be delightfully provided.
