Im pretty new to the site, so i was just wondering if anyone could throw me a couple tips and such...

as in maybe: 
what kinds of images i should have in my portfolio?
are the ones i have up good enough for this site?
how do i go about making connections on here?
what should i be aware of on shoots? (as in any pre-requisites that most models would need like food,water, etc....)

that kind of stuff.
or anything that i may have missed by chance.
all of my models thus far have been really good friends of mine,
so i havent worked with a model in whom i had not previously known prior to the shoot(s), which is why i am inquiring about these kinds of things.
(as newbie as they may make me sound! lol)
