God loves you when you google.

I have a limited model release I like, but I found the basic form through a google search.

How about this:

THE IMAGES ARE MINE!  ALL MINE AND NOBODY ELSES!  I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT WITH THEM!!!  MUAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Ok, that's probably a little extreme.  Find something a little friendlier.  :-)

You might want to ask your attorney if it is ok to gave away his work...... Just a thought there.
I mean come on now, If anyone has nothing to lose by suing, it is an attorney (c:

my lawyer wrote this for me. there is an adult and a minor form, (my minor release is with the minor not the parent bc legally the minor can revoke the contract at any point in her life, the only thing you could do is then sue the parent for breach, my release gives the model until a week after the age of majority to ratify) plus a proposed form of consideration form they sign before we start so you don't get caught with your pants down at the end of the shoot when a model says. "TFP?" or  "$50 an hour you said $100."

good luck.

Just use a standard release. Write any restrictions on the margin, ie "no porn web site or men's magazine use". Both parties initial the changes, sign it and the change becomes part of the release.

How important are witnesses?

here are some standard releases and a model-waiver which I
received from other photogs. I alter them (slightly) to add "no sales" when I do TFP.

witnesses are good, so is adding a drivers licence#
(you never know when/where a model may move!)

From a technical standpoint they are important, but I usually don't bother with them and have never had a problem.

LMAO!

Now that's a clear release form, at least it doesn't take 10mn to figure out what the form is about.

Maybe I'll try it as a joke for my next shoot wink
