I would love to have an option to "browse" for digital artists. I love looking at images of all kinds, but I have a hard time finding digital artists...does anyone know some really good ones here on MM? Please share their info if you do... Thanks much! Feb 24 06 11:03 pm Link Feb 24 06 11:08 pm Link I wouldn't mind seeing some myself as I have no one to jusge my own stuff by. Feb 24 06 11:11 pm Link I do digital art on the side...mostly for fun. Feb 25 06 12:14 am Link I don't know about "best", but there's a number of digital artists whose work I admire. Greg vander Houwen, largely not photo-based. Jill Greenberg, the Manipulator Jeffery Scott. Glen Mitsui: digital illustration, generally not photorealistic. Michael Rosen Eydis Luna, photographer and digital artist. Glenn Honiball, mostly for completely invisible editing. Bert Monroy: hyper-realism Jim Fiscus Feb 25 06 04:12 am Link Landra Lee Photography wrote: Jeffery is one of the best. Feb 25 06 10:17 am Link Oops I forgot....here is another one of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned yet: http://jettpics.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ He does very cool stuff and is a nice guy as well... Feb 25 06 10:19 am Link I throw my wolf into the ring www.wolfwilson.com Feb 25 06 07:32 pm Link Hey Toria! Great topic! There's this Australian sculpture / photographer that totally blows me away... when I first saw his work I had one of those "I totally suck!" moments. He had more of his digitial work online when I first ran acorss him, but you can see a few pieces and quite a few of his sculpters. His name is Tim Wetherell (formerly Thompson). His home page can be seen here: http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/~tdt050/vision/index.html And his digital photographic work can be seen here: http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/~tdt050/vision/older.html He's also the artist that designed the Vision Tarot deck. -Pat- Feb 25 06 07:49 pm Link Thanks again for everyone who gave answers to this. I enjoyed looking at all of the cool stuff and appreciate everyones comments. Would still love to see more...anyone else? Apr 08 06 03:50 pm Link I must confess that Jeffrey Scott is my fav. Not to be vain but I'm not too shabby, hehe! Rich http://www.rpatrickmohrphotography.net/artistic.htm Apr 09 06 11:07 am Link Jeffery is phenomenal for sure. There's a subtler guy in Chicago with some mad skills: https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=10242 Apr 09 06 11:35 am Link Apr 09 06 11:41 am Link Joel Peter Witkin is the best and he's not even digital. All the other black and white digi-artists follow his lead, poorly. Or they unknowingly follow his followers. Apr 09 06 11:51 am Link Don't forget Chris Donovan. Apr 09 06 01:17 pm Link MAX V got my vote!!!
