Lets play this as ongoing for Models, Photographers, Stylists, etc.
Just state the favorite, or worst scam you have been envolved with.
Perhaps it will save some grief for someone.

Me ???

Worst - A "gold dig" model and her boyfriend escort tried to sue me for not picking her as high level spokeswoman after a TFP tryout.
Latter they tried to break into my studio to recover the picts they already had or to steal, destoy, and other violent Mayhem.

Geez!!!
I hope you pressed charges.

The recent favorite scam going around is "I can get you in (insert magazine name here)."

I have no favorite scams.  I detest them all.  Worst ones I have seen are the one's that are played the movie "The Sting".  - Where groups of unsavory people get together to coordinate large-scale fraud by manipulating business structures.  ie: Enron.  Being involved with venture-backed dot-coms in the 90's, I have seen far more than my share of scams.

Oh, modeling scams?  There are too many to count.  Anything that requires me to pay money, which does not reasonably translate into income is a scam.  99% of services models can spend money on to promote themselves are a scam.

I like the ones that want to feature me in their latest photography book, and then try to sell me the book for $85 - I have to buy the book in order to be featured - LOL!!!

As far as non-photo/model related, my favorites are the emails I get from someone in Nigeria who has 50 million dollars that they want to transfer into my bank account. All they need are bank routing numbers and all my personal account info.  Gee, what a great deal!
