No thanks: too weak, too cumbersome, too flimsey, the dispersion of the flash eats up so much power that to get any decent f-stop would max portable units and give slow recycle times.  I'll stick w/ my profoto ringflash.

well obviously if you have a ring flash you don't need to make this. its just funny becuase there are a lot of broke photographers that can't afford one those and this is an alternative.
