I received a casting notice through a friend to be the Feb Cover Girl
for
JCT Magazine. I applied legitimately with photos and an essay on why
they
should choose me. PAPPA-T OF JCT contacted me and told me I made the
top 5
and needed to send another essay on how I would promote JCT. I then
found
out that I won. After that, things just got weird. He asked me to send
in an
artist release form and then after he received it asked me to write a
VERY
SEXUALLY EXPLICIT - HE SAID XXX HOT - ESSAY on how the photoshoot would
go
between me and the photographer (PAPPA-T) alone in a hotel room - he
also
asked me to get topless shots done and send them to him.

I realized there were too many red flags and contacted some very
respected
and well known people in the industry to check this out. I also asked
PAPPA-T for references of other models he has shot, where I could find
a
copy of the magazine, and told him my policy on NEVER shooting alone
EVER
with a new photographer. I also asked about the $1000 prize money and
he
told me that even though the site says there is a prize it's not for
this
and the site said it was.

The magazine is the web-site. You get no prize money and really no
cover
because the magazine is the website. They won't pay for travel - the
whole
thing is a scam. And PAPPA-T indicated sexual favors for him during
one of
our conversations.

DANGER - DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY NOTICE FROM JCT MAGAZINE, JCT
TELEVISION, JCT MANAGEMENT GROUP - THESE ARE THE NAMES THE COMPANY GOES
BY - BE ESP. AWARE IF YOU GET A CALL FROM PAPPA-T OR WILL - THEY ARE
BASED OUT OF CONN., NY AND KANSAS CITY.

Cool.

Not necessarily a scam but he's spamming the world for "talent" and there is no actual paper "magazine" at all that I can tell. Just some scraggy DIY Internet pages that don't amount to even an on-line "magazine". Not even close. He's just another wannabe "player"
