this site is getting slower.....almost 56k slow...im on a high speed cable modem, and most pages stall 'waiting for adbrite'.....

how frustrating this is.........

see the block of ads above your original post? A gray box with (when it works) three links, each with a two-line block of text beneath? With a "Advertise on MM" link in blue at the bottom right corner?

THAT's the adbrite block. And yes, it's holding things up a whole lot. And yes, I've already posted about this on Site Related Discussion.

Adbrite.com...is just another domain I put on my route table to 127.0.0.1

I didn't notice it slowing anything down.
I'm just on a cable modem.
