The National Association of Photoshop Professionals Convention is coming up in Miami, March 22-24 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. I have been to five of these conventions in the past. There will be approx 2000 Photoshop users, a Lot of these are Photographers. There will be three days of Jam packed Photoshop Instruction and Training, a Lot of it oriented toward Digital Photography. Adobe is always well represented. You can go to http://www.photoshopworld.com for more information, or browse http://www.photoshopuser.com If you want to join NAPP, you must be a member of NAPP to attend. I have been a member for 5 years it is well worth it. Just wondering how many MM Members including Models and Photographers will be attending. If You are going, reply to the thread maybe we can all get together
for a Miami Beach Shoot OR a Drunk.

I should be there. Sounds like a great way to learn more about Photoshop, which I could certainly use.

Just noticed this post.
Although I'm a little biased wink I'd agree that Photoshop World is a great event. A couple of things I'd like to mention: if you're not a NAPP member you automatically get a membership ($99 value) when you attend. (Current NAPP members pay a discounted rate)
Also, there is one day when the EXPO floor is open to the public (and this year there will be a few shooting areas set up on the show floor)
More details on the web site http://www.photoshopworld.com
Hope to see you there

One more thing to add that will be of interest to photographers: we've just added Portfolio Reviews, where you can sit down with well-known photographers to discuss your portfolio. I copied this from the photoshopworld page:
"... it's free to full conference attendees. Five photographers have already signed up to do the advising, Jim DiVitale, Helene Glassman, Moose Peterson, Vincent Versace and David Ziser, and more will be announced soon. Limited to a small group of participants (for obvious reasons), so reservations are required at the conference registration desk"
