The quality of the pictures looks bad, but that could just be due to the way they were scanned or uploaded. The actual poses and your look are amazing! If you ever want to setup a TFCD shoot let me know

Hi Tanish,
Welcome to MM, hope you find the site useful and your time here to be productive and beneficial. I've put together a little info about getting started with MM, hope it's of some use to you.

If looking for work, models, photographers, etc, you can use the Casting section to post a casting call or find out who is offering work in your area - https://www.modelmayhem.com/castingcalls.php . NOTE: You are allowed to offer paid work in the casting calls section but soliciting for paid work using Casting or any other forum is forbidden and will get you reported to Site Admin for a rule breach. In other words, you cannot use the forums to advertise that you are seeking paid work. You can however advertise that on your profile.

Another alternative if looking for models, photographers, etc, is to use the browse section to see who is local to you - https://www.modelmayhem.com/browse.php or use the Travel Notices Forum, to see if anyone will be passing through your area - https://www.modelmayhem.com/threads.php?forum_id=11 .
You can also use Travel Notices to announce your own travel plans.

The Forums:
The best advice I can give you before venturing into the forum, is read the forum Rules, the Mods these days are a lot less forgiving of infractions than they used to be, you can find the rules here: https://www.modelmayhem.com/p.php?thread_id=240317

For feedback on your portfolio, try the Critique section, the feedback may well be forthright, but it's on the whole well intentioned and useful.

For hint's, tips and advice, I would highly recommend you try diving into one of the industry related forums (Photography, Modeling, Stylists or General).

For networking and getting to know some of the folks you may end up working with, try the bearpit that is Off Topic.
Things can get a little nuts in there sometimes, but they are a good bunch of folks once you get to know them.

Before you do dive into the Forums, go read CLT's Newbie Survival guide here:
https://www.modelmayhem.com/p.php?thread_id=117121
and if you have any questions, you can find the MM FAQ here:
https://www.modelmayhem.com/faq.php .

When it comes to searching the threads, the MM search function can be a bit vague, fortunately one of the MM regs has put together an excellent search function. I strongly suggest you bookmark it as you will want to use it at some point, heres the link: http://search.plasticpuppet.com/ .

Also, using the Plastic Puppet data is http://www.ShootNotes.com which offers members the ability to automatically track their Model Mayhem forum posts and get email notifications of new posts in those threads. The site is also developing a reputation and identity system as well as a comprehensive database system for keeping notes on all of your shoots. It's in open beta until April and registration is free.

Finally, if you're new to MM or modeling, please check out:
www.newmodels.com, http://www.purestorm.com/articles.aspx and

These websites have useful info for models and MM newcomers in general.

Enjoy the Mayhem smile
