Clothing comps
Question... when clothing is offered in exhcange for a shoot why do modles feel it is a shopping free for all? At this rate I may just stay tfcd. Jun 10 05 09:37 am Link so much of my modeling income goes to clothes anyway, that i'd probably accept clothing in exchange for modeling, provided it was something I actually like and/or thought I could use again. I have turned down trades for clothes because I knew I'd have no use for those stripper costumes. So obviously, it depends. However, if you have models trying to go on a mass shopping free-for-all, you probably just need to define ahead of time the value of clothing you're offering as trade. So many of the problems like these come up because someone hasn't been explicit about their expectations from the get-go. Of course, a lot of people have literacy issues, too.
