Question... when clothing is offered in exhcange for a shoot why do modles feel it is a shopping free for all?  At this rate I may just stay tfcd.

Not like I am anything great behind the camera..............

I can always go for clothes.  Even though I'm mainly a shoe freak!  It's weird though, because I almsot feel bad for accepting.
I can see how some would definitely try and abuse the kind gesture.  I guess just take notice if it seems like someone is trying to get more clothes out of you then what you intended.

Maybe you need to make it more clear up front exactly what you're offering.

I usually let girls keep their shoes.
Which is a lot for me... I've kinda got a thing for shoes.  I'd rather hold onto them and give them to my girl.  Cause she looks fucking HOT like the sun in heels.
My point?
I don't have one.

I don't offer clothing, but sometimes if a model looks good in something, something that is like size 4 (I am a 9, I eat) and I know that this is a shot for my book, I give her the clothing. I can really only use it in my book once...

I style also so I beat the models senseless if they try to take clothes.  And I will someday have an estate sale.

But when traveling I give away too much.

I have even made money renting out stuff on Holloween and that was just what I normally wear.

Any panties or bikinis I let the models use, I let them keep.  I'm so generous.  lmao

Clothing allowances are more than acceptable...why would someone have a problem with that?
As long as the clothing fits the model well...and her image...why not?
People amaze me....

so much of my modeling income goes to clothes anyway, that i'd probably accept clothing in exchange for modeling, provided it was something I actually like and/or thought I could use again.  I have turned down trades for clothes because I knew I'd have no use for those stripper costumes. So obviously, it depends.

However, if you have models trying to go on a mass shopping free-for-all, you probably just need to define ahead of time the value of clothing you're offering as trade. So many of the problems like these come up because someone hasn't been explicit about their expectations from the get-go. Of course, a lot of people have literacy issues, too. And I guess there's no much that ban be done about them, except ye olde tire irone.

Guess you are not shooting with the right people.
Ur-bane is great I got some very nice shoes from her!!
Well if you a "pay" only model then those that offer clothing won't approach.
