Is this a scam?
Sasstudio.com contacted me about working with them. I've checked out there website and they claim to be the biggest agency in Orange County and Las Vegas, but I've never heard of them. Its a nice site and all but, has anyone worked with them or heard good/bad things about them? Jan 16 06 09:36 pm Link what kind of agency? though as a rule, big agency's don't contact you, you contact them. Then sit on tenterhooks till they write you back. Then you contact them again. Besides their theft of the "THX" intro sound (I don't see any copyright notice or permission of use notice anywhere), it is loud and annoying. Also in New York (don't know about other places) It is illegal to combine the businesses of being a photographer/photo studio and modeling agent Jan 16 06 09:44 pm Link There site is too flashy! And by that I mean I hate having to wait and watch "blah blah blah % loaded" lol so I didn't even check pretty much any of it out. I guess the question in my mind is, are they talking green stuff? Its more like a lame little try, by a lame little guy, to look like hes cool with his super flash tool. Hows that? Jan 17 06 03:14 am Link What do you make of this..?? " Update Submitted by the original author Submitted: 11/21/2005 5:18:32 PM Modified: 11/21/2005 5:18:32 PM Happy Ending This afternoon my daughter was refunded her $200.00 by S.A.S. Studios. I am sincerely hoping this is the end to all of this. As I have repeatedly stated, previously, it was always my main concern that her money be refunded. S.A.S. has done this. I hereby retract my former accusations against S.A.S. Studios and Shawn Anthony regarding this point. Also, if it is at all within my power, I will attempt to remove this report from the online community. If this is not feasible, then I hope this statement rectifies this situation. Sincerely, Mara - Oak Harbor, Washington U.S.A." That's VERY interesting... I read Shawn's reply,..and next thing you know,...what's her face's mother is suddenly signing a different tune.. Some people.. :-| JP Jan 17 06 08:16 am Link John Paul wrote: That some people are very easily satisfied with cash. Jan 17 06 08:21 am Link Unless they are asking for $$ or want exclusivity, their probably okay. Just depends how much and what kind of work they'll get you. Weird site. Jan 17 06 08:28 am Link it was dizzying to watch those flying things in their website lol (just my opinion:)...it's probably too early for me to watch the flashy stuff ..need some coffee first.
