Caffeine.....gotta have my Mountain Dew or Pepsi.  In fact, I am having a MD now!  hehehe.  I don't do drugs, what is the point?  I think sometimes it brings out the worst in people.  Have I ever done them.....of course....like 12 years ago...when I was a dingy teenager!  Did I learn from it...yes, I did.  As you get older there are bigger and better things in life than sitting around with your friends getting high and eating so much because you are hungry...or sleeping all the time and never getting anything accomplished.  For people who are on drugs...if that is how they want to live their lives...so be it.  It is not my place to tell people what the can or can't do.  I just choose not to do that myself.  smile

Wow; hopefully healths aren't hindered! Before a shoot I usually eat a small breakfast bar and listen to my favorite music. That's what works best for me. smile

Might as well kill the thread now b/c some of the greatest artists of all time where on some form of a drug and not being able to talk about this openly is pointless I guess... Art never had rules to govern it until the less talented set up laws and rules to learn from the masters..  Do you really think they called "Butterfly effect of lighting" when it first was painted... or Rembrandt lighting..
I am just saying rules hold us back sometimes and not being open about how you get your Inspiration through drugs may be a good conversation piece...

Self destruction can be art for awhile, but eventually it gets in the way of your biggest art project of all; life.

I agree that some of the most amazing art came from minds that were corrupted, but most times it was the corruption that lead them to substance, not the other way around.

Very few people are brilliant enough to leave their mark on the world.  For the rest of us, all we can do is seek the fullest life possible.

life often sucks when i am sober, but it sucked worse when I wasn't. And sobriety is much cheaper. Besides, I am too lazy to commit to a drug habit. being an addict is a full time job, which doesn't leave much room for...modelling, photography, or f*cking around on mm all day.

when you shoot or when you model ... Ever think about or want too be..

I have my Red Bull or Rock Star fix on a full stomach so I don't bounce off the wall's. I have been clean & sober for 4 year's so no drugs, alcohol, cigerettes anymore.I personally, would be very flakey if on drug's or drinking, as it stand's, I never flake on photographer's & try to be early. If you knew me, I am usually late for everything, would be late for my own funeral, but not a photoshoot or not picking up my kid's from school!

The lonely corner is starting to get less lonely as all of the fun-loving, open minded individuals are coming out of hiding and into my inbox. lol

Arguing the other point is pointless when this many straight-edged people haven't experienced anything other than a high off of coffee, cigs or soda.

Yeesh, looks like most everyone here is shilling for phillip morris, starbucks, pepsico or Nancy reagan.

Judgemental much?

I wouldn't be suprised to learn that 2/3 of these coffee, tea, cigarette, soda-pop squares indulge in stronger stuff, maybe not on working hours, but still...
