I'm looking for some body paint to experiment with, but I have no idea where to find it.  Thanks!

Latex body paint can be had in adult emporia right next to sex toys.  Porn shops.

Stage makeup can be found in theatrical makeup shops.  Look in the Yellow Pages under "theater" or "theatrical" and see what comes up.

I'm not sure if they have them near you, but up in NYC we have a chain called "Ricky's" that has plenty of things like that.

Otherwise I'd second the above poster's suggestion to look for theatrical makeup, Ben Nye is one brand that has great stuff, as does Kryolan. You can get containers of straight pigment (in a base) for pretty decent prices, especially if you search online or on eBay.

edit: this site seems to have a really good range of stuff:

Do  forum search on bodypaint, we've covered this a few times actually. Above are good ideas, and the forum archives will have more.

the stuff Ricky's sells is not bad.   Cheap,  water based,  good to experiment with or to use with better products.   I learned to put on water based makeup under some better tones of oil based makeup for experimentation.

The cleanup of oil based body makeup is not easy for you,  your living space or the model.

Costume stores.  Visit them all, they have different brands and they'll give you lots of advice.  I suggest Kryolan Aquacolors.  They're easy to work with, you just sponge them on.

ok for starter dont try home depo use something for the skin . Ok there are many products out there and you can use them for different resons, MAC sells a water based  aqua colour at thier pro stores, Kyoln makes and aqua colour so does Ben Nye and well most "make-up" brands do, you must have a Professional make-up supply place in your city. It depends on what you want the look to look like. if your wanting soemthing that water proff you will need to get  a product thats water proof.
