Someone is trying to sell me some of these lights. I haven't heard anything about these lights before. Anyone out there heard or used these lights before ?

I used a pair of 500w strobes with softboxes at a friend's spot.  If you use a light meter, you may get a headache.  Color shifts and inconsistent power output kinda ran rampant.  But, the stuff we shot wasn't "studio" quality, so the clients were happy.  For an entry-level setup, it'll be okay.  If you've used ANY good strobe setup, you may not be all that happy.

Personally, I'd save my nickels and go with Alien Bees (which is what I have).
