Why don't you link?
Ok, so I am a bit tired of photographers who don't bother to link to their models. If the model is on the site, and you have a photo of him/her in your port, it is just plain common courtesy to link to the model. So why don't you? I hate going to a photographer's port because he or she has a model featured that I'd like to work with, only to find no information about the model. I don't have time to e-mail everyone for contact information on their models, and maybe not even get a reply. Although I have gotten a few requests on how to get in touch with a couple of models on my port. I always reply, but I think at this point if I'm not linked to a model's MM#, it means she's no longer modeling. Jan 04 06 01:13 am Link I'm usually VERY conscientious about linking to models (and MUAs) both here and on OMP - if there's no link it just means that they're not on the site. On the other hand, I rarely see models link back to me...maybe 1 in 5 is good about it. I've finally had to start putting watermarks on web-sized images I give to models in order to maintain my agreed-on credit just because it's easier than chasing them down months after the fact. I ask them to send it in an email. I provide the same information. Should we be on the same sites, I ask them to link to me and I will to them. It's actually part of my release agreement. I even ask them if they want to add their portfolio on any sites I'm at where they might not be. If they don't provide me with their links... should I chase them down to get the info? I've even gone back and added links to photos that were up before the model joined MM (and I encourage all of the models who are not here to get on here... this place is much more friendly and much more usable than that Other Model Place...)
