and said they'd love to shoot with me, if I was just closer (ie NOT in australia) gave me $5 then I'd have a plane ticket by now! tongue

hehe, I hope everyone who's promised they adore my.. "look"? actually meant it, because what if I slave away at a bar/cafe sad and finally get enough money to go over and you were just being nice over the 'net!

i'd have to just be a tourist, damnation.

seriously though, I'm moving from adelaide to melbourne (a far more fashion saavy place in australia) on the 18th. There I hope to get some modelling work, and if not bar work hmm and gradually save until I get a ticket

I'll want to stop at LA, san fran, new york...umm, there were others, i've forgotten sad

We'll all shoot you when you come to the US, and here's a slightly easier offer for you. If you can get your koala butt up to Sydney when I come back home, we'll do a shoot there. I'll let you know about when I head back.

Now work for those tips so you can come over!

ok... if you are going to hop the pacific to hit North America... I'll offer $CAD 6.00 (what $US 5.00 exchanges to about right now) if you want to swing up to Toronto. Great city, lots to do, see and be photographed in.

Aw, see, this is why being a starving artist sucks!  wink

If I had the money to toss around, I'd just buy your ticket for ya, as well as tickets for all the models I'd love to work with!  (And there's a lot of really nice, cool people on here that I'd love to shoot...with my camera!)

But someday!  big_smile

You know, if they're offering money, I wouldn't knock it!!  LOL  And ever thought about a plane ticket for a visit, and then bus/training around the country for paid shoots?  An extended kind of vacation.  It keep costs down a LITTLE, as I know US to Sydney (and back) right now is around $2K (though I forget if my starting city was Chicago or not).

Yeah, they're basically just the space between New York and LA that's there to let you get a little nap when traveling between 'em.
